Brand Identity

Pages for Pediatrics (PFP) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that writes, illustrates, and donates children’s storybooks on pediatric illnesses and disabilities. PFP’s mission is to help alleviate patient anxiety by advocating for disability representation and combatting stigma toward pediatric health conditions.

When Pages for Pediatrics began in 2021, I started as one of the founding board members. As of 2023, I serve as one of the Board Directors and mentor undergraduate students at universities across the United States to illustrate and produce children’s books. Additionally, I currently direct and oversee the brand identity and website.

logo

I designed the first logo for PFP in 2021. After the nonprofit expanded to student affiliates at multiple universities, it was time for a logo refresh.

Previously, the logo felt imbalanced and dated. Keeping the same image of a doctor sitting on an open book, I updated the logo to feel more simple, modern, and scalable.

BRANDING

Hospital stays can be daunting, so I know how important it is to build a trustworthy brand that pediatric patients can feel comfortable and empowered by.

My goal is to design a brand system that is bright, trustworthy, welcoming, and versatile for all of our affiliates to use.

website

With the nonprofit expanding, Pages for Pediatrics needed a refresh of their website so that visitors and prospective student affiliates can easily find the information they need.
